(2025/06/04) Our lab was selected for the Global Basic Research Laboratory Program (PI: Sang-Hyug Park) funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea. Through this grant, we will receive three years of funding to develop a real-time, non-destructive assessment platform for advanced organoid systems. This achievement was featured in the news. (2025/05/09) Prof. Nam delivered a talk on machine learning-assisted optimization of printability in extrusion-based bioprinting at KS3DPM 2025, held at Seoul National University, Korea.
(2025/05/03) Priya (Hybrid biofabrication of an artificial esophagus: integrating electrospinning, embedded digital light processing, and extrusion-based bioprinting) and Masoud (Hierarchical-gradient 3D-printed structures for enhanced tendon-to-bone integration: a bioinspired and data-driven approach) won best poster presentation awards for their outstanding research at KTERMS 2025. Congratulations to both!
(2025/05/02) We attended KTERMS 2025 in Seongnam, Korea. We presented five posters, and our collaborative research was also presented by Eun-Jae Chung, M.D., at Seoul National University Hospital.
(2025/02/21) Juhyun Kang and Gyeongmi Lee received their PhD and master’s degrees from PKNU, respectively. Juhyun will continue his research as a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Lim’s lab, while Gyeongmi and Garin have joined the industry as researchers

(2024/06/25) Our lab members attended TERMIS-WC in Seattle, USA. We delivered seven presentations and enjoyed networking with leading researchers at the conference.

(2024/05/27) We attended WBC 2024 in Daegu, Korea, where we delivered eight presentations. Prof. Nam gave an invited talk titled "Machine learning-assisted optimization of printability in extrusion-based bioprinting."

(2017/02/06) Prof. Nam visited Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM) with Prof. Jung and Prof. Park in PKNU BME. We had a great time with prestigious professors in the tissue engineering and regenerative medicine field, Sang Jin Lee, James Yoo, and Anthony Atala.
